I will take this opportunity to extend to you, my dear reader, what I consider to be a mandatory and all-encompassing disclaimer. The material you will read on this website is all fiction, although some of my friends refer to it as “lies”. I feel there is a fine line between fiction and lie, and I do not hesitate to cross that line whenever I think the result will be funny. Granted there are small bits of fact randomly scattered throughout the stories to give them a certain air of authenticity. Do not allow this to lull you into a false sense of belief. I will leave it to you, my readers, to determine for yourselves to what extent you wish to believe what you read, as long as you are aware that, for the sake of humor, I will feed you a line of bullshit whenever I can. I feel it is extremely appropriate at this time to quote the ancient Latin phrase “Caveat Bookwormeronimus Emptor” or “Let the Reader Beware”.
I honestly feel that one of the most beautiful sounds in this world is laughter, and one of the highest callings a person can aspire to is to help others make that sound. I began writing the Rambles in an attempt to make myself and others laugh, and nothing more. Hopefully you will enjoy reading my Rambles as much as I did writing them. Since there appears to be an inexhaustible supply of silliness in the world, who knows where it will all lead us?
